how we use your information

lawful bases (UK GDPR)

Depending on what you submit, we rely on:

where data is stored

Your form submission is sent securely from your browser to our hosting provider, then forwarded to a Google Sheet via Google Apps Script, so Google processes that data on our behalf. Personal data may be processed outside the UK; where that happens, we use appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.

We keep enquiry and mailing-list related information only for as long as needed for those purposes or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it in line with our internal practices.

security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online transmission or storage is completely secure.

your rights

Under UK data protection law you may have rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

cookies and similar technologies

We do not set cookies on this website for our own analytics, advertising, or personalisation. You should not see a first-party cookie banner from us for that reason.

We use Simple Analytics to collect basic, aggregated statistics (for example page views and referring sites) in a privacy-oriented way. Simple Analytics does not use cookies for this service in the way many analytics products do. For their practices, see simpleanalytics.com/privacy.
